How To Impress Your Kids

This came in the mail:

Our daughters are SO AMAZED about the fact
that their parents must be such Celebreties
that THE DANBURY MINT
has made a Special Edition "Suzanne & Matt" ring to sell
and that it is featured in their exclusive catalog that they send out to millions!!!

(I'm sure it'll be flying off the shelves - or the internet!)

We chose NOT to correct their assumptions!
We gotta take any admiration and respect we can get from them!  ;)

They're Barking Up the Wrong Tree

WHY did we receive this magazine in the mail this week?
And WHY have we previously received two other issues of this same magazine before this one, too?
At first I thought it was a one-time sample that we sometimes get of various magazines, but, NO, it looks like it's now a regular delivery.

We have no interest in "How to enjoy wine."

We don't order wine when we dine out.

You won't find any wine in our home.

We don't pair wine with our chocolate.

We aren't even wine drinkers.

In fact, we decidedly abstain from alcohol of any kind.

That's why I just shake my head in confusion when these arrive in the mail....and ask, "WHY?!?"

Someone sure got their "customer profiling" wrong.  Dead wrong.

A real case of misdirected "marketing."

They need to study our "shopping trends" a bit more carefully next time.
Now, magazines about Ranch, Hershey's products, or Cherry Ju Ju hearts would be much more productive/enticing with us!  ;)

Patience is a Virtue, RIGHT?!?

This was delivered in our mail today...
{Ryan's MISSION CALL}
{...from the Prophet!}

...but he says he doesn't have time to open it until Sunday evening!!!
(Ya know, the month of May is super busy for a high school senior and all!...and opening it would take, like, TWO MINUTES!!)

He's only waited HIS WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE for this day....what's 4 more?!?  ;)

What does this say about us...
when we receive a Christmas card in the mail from these guys?
(but not from other "friends" & family)
{front cover}

{Inside of card}
I didn't think our "pizza habit" was too excessive.
We're definitely not doing it multiple times a week!
It's not even like it's once a week or anything.
I don't even think it's once a month - I don't think....but, I've discovered (thanks to Big Mouth little sisters) that the kids secretly order pizza sometimes when Matt & I are out on a date...so, maybe I don't know what to think! :)
